![]() Oh, and the cinema desktop viewer doesn't work with multiple monitors. The room itself is quite comfy, and the ambient colors of the lights are a very nice touch. (I set tracking sensitivity to 0, was the only way I could find with a quick try - turning off head tracking in settings turned it off entirely, even for the cinema environment.) ![]() Head-tracking + cinema is really neat, but I ended up turning it off for the most comfort. It takes a good deal of the FOV even with the distance at 1.0 (I think that's furthest), so I was worried about sickness, but so far so good. Using this Virtual Cinema Mode is very immersive, almost as good as full VR mode.Įdit update: I tried Stanley Parable in Cinema mode and was pretty satisfied. Plus a very nice ambient color scene that expands the screen colors outside the cinema screen. It also has kickass dynamic screen lighting that is second to none, if I may say so (fully physics based with global illumination). Games run almost as fast as without Cinema Mode. Image Quality wise that is as good as it gets in regard to watching videos on your headset. ![]() If you use VLC or MPC-HC, with a special high quality video player mode that automatically kicks in when you use these players. You still get the stereo 3d injection, and Ralf swears it's one of the best quality movie players out there with VLC or MPC-HC. I have a really weak stomach for artificial motion, but I plan to mainly use Vorpx's Virtual Cinema mode myself. ![]()
